About

Stacy D. Fehlinger is the owner of Healthy & Fit for Life, LLC. She has a passion for whole food nutrition and fitness and became a certified health coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute to help educate others on the importance of whole food nutrition and staying active throughout life for optimal health, wellness and longevity.
Stacy is from Indianapolis, Indiana where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and an Associate in Arts in Legal Assistance.  She worked for many years as a Paralegal before deciding to obtain a Health Coach Certification.
Stacy’s desire to become a Health Coach began after she lost  65 pounds and found that it was easy to keep the weight off, since she approached her weight loss as a lifestyle change and not just a diet.  When Stacy was overweight she suffered from high cholesterol at a young age.  This caused her great concern, since she has a family history of heart disease and other chronic conditions that relate to lifestyle choices. It took her a year to reach her goal weight, but Stacy has kept off the weight for 15 years!  She even had children after losing weight and was able to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight within 6 months after giving birth.
Stacy believes that if she can be successful in losing and keeping the weight off for good, ANYONE ELSE CAN TOO! It’s all about making the right lifestyle changes by making eating healthy and staying active a priority.  She also watches what additives and preservatives are in the food she purchases and has become quite savvy at label reading. The workshops she teaches and her individual coaching sessions focuses on whole food nutrition and staying active to achieve a healthy weight and optimal health.
Stacy currently lives in Acworth, Georgia with her husband and two beautiful daughters. When she is not busying coaching and carpooling her daughters to their various activities, she also enjoys boating and traveling with her family
